The Arcade Graveyard: Ghoulishly We Play G.I. Joe & Rambo III G.I. Joe is one of those titles that's almost as unbelievable as its source. Take control of a Joe, and run around (literally) blowing shit up, killing Cobras, blowing up tanks and jets, destroying oil fields, and otherwise being a pain in the ass to the terrorist organization. Better still, your score is not points, it's kills. And to think the cartoon it's based on never had anybody getting shot and killed on either side. Go figure!
Rambo III is similar to G.I. Joe as your character runs around on screen (this time however he can run horizontally through some levels) blowing shit up, fighting tons of overlapping enemy soldiers, tanks, helicopters, and jeeps. This game looks like it was meant to be a light gun game like the Terminator 2: Judgment Day game, and uses the license of Rambo and having him on-screen might make it worth playing. Granted you only see your character as Rambo from behind and in graphics between missions or on the title movie. This game is amusing but ultimately is just as much a piece of rotten ass as G.I. Joe is.
